Ian uses a range of high quality cameras, prefering to shoot with the more versatile high quality medium format and panoramic cameras, which allows him to shoot on larger film and expose frames that are many times larger than the conventional 35mm size. This larger format produces images with intense clarity, which is of great importance in the printing process. Ian uses a Fuji film that has a very fine grain structure, increased colour saturation and is rated as some of the best film in the world for outdoor landscape work. This all helps to produce the best quality images.
